Iron has its own path through the body. IRON PREMIUM supports every step of the way.

IRON PREMIUM is a carefully formulated blend that supports the entire iron cycle in the body—from absorption through metabolism and transport to the formation of hemoglobin, blood, and red blood cells.

IRON PREMIUM is a comprehensive dietary supplement containing 20 mg of iron from the premium ingredient Liposovit®-Fe. It combines a well-tolerated chelated form—ferrous bisglycinate—with modern liposomal technology. The iron is supplemented with liposomal vitamin C, vitamins B2 and B6 in their coenzyme forms, copper, L-methylfolate, and methylcobalamin.

Why IRON PREMIUM?

IRON PREMIUM contains iron derived from the premium raw material Liposovit®-Fe, which combines two modern strategies for iron formulation. Bisglycinate is a chelated form of iron known for its high bioavailability and favorable gastrointestinal tolerance. Liposomal processing using phospholipids provides an additional technological level of protection and processing for the iron.

The result is:

  • less exposure of the intestine to free reactive iron,
  • better gastrointestinal tolerance,
  • less susceptibility to certain food interactions,
  • more efficient transport to the intestinal absorption barrier,
  • Effective use of a 20-mg dose instead of very high doses of conventional salts.

One capsule provides 20 mg of elemental iron, which is 142.9% of the reference nutritional value. This dose is high enough for targeted iron supplementation, yet it is not based on an extremely high single dose. Combined with bisglycinate and liposomal technology, IRON PREMIUM is designed with a focus on daily use, optimal bioavailability, and good tolerability. Iron itself contributes to the formation of hemoglobin and to oxygen transport in the body.

IRON PREMIUM offers more than just iron. Many supplements combine iron only with vitamin C, folic acid, and vitamin B12. IRON PREMIUM goes a step further. Its formulation takes into account the individual steps that determine how the body subsequently utilizes the iron it absorbs.

  • Vitamin C increases iron absorption and also helps protect cells from oxidative stress, supports normal energy metabolism, and helps reduce fatigue and exhaustion. Having it all in one capsule makes it easy to take—there’s no need to add a separate vitamin C supplement.
  • Vitamin B2 contributes to normal metabolism and the effective utilization of iron
  • Copper contributes to the normal transport of iron in the body

These components support the processes that occur after iron enters the body and help transport and metabolize it.

  • Vitamin B6 contributes to normal red blood cell formation. Vitamin B6, present in the form of pyridoxal-5′-phosphate—that is, its coenzyme form—is important for heme synthesis.

It is heme that forms the functional part of hemoglobin to which oxygen binds. The combination of iron and vitamin B6 therefore creates a logical link between the supply of this essential mineral and the support of red blood cell production.

  • Folate contributes to normal blood formation
  • Vitamin B12 contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells

L-methylfolate and methylcobalamin (vitamin B12) are biologically active forms of folate and vitamin B12 that are naturally involved in cell division and blood formation. They thus serve as a suitable complement to the well-thought-out IRON PREMIUM formula.

Who should take IRON PREMIUM?

IRON PREMIUM is intended for adults who need to supplement their iron intake due to increased needs or insufficient dietary intake. Its benefits will be particularly appreciated by:

  • women of childbearing age and women with heavier menstrual flow,
  • vegetarians, vegans, and people who eat little meat,
  • regular blood donors,
  • athletes and physically active people,
  • people experiencing periods of increased physical or mental stress,
  • people with an increased need for iron, as confirmed by laboratory testing,
  • people who are looking for a more comprehensive alternative to standard supplements containing only iron and vitamin C.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, or if you have been diagnosed with anemia, consult your doctor regarding the dosage and duration of use. This product is not a substitute for diagnosing the cause of iron deficiency or treating overt anemia.

The recommended daily dose is one capsule per day with a meal. Swallow the capsule whole and drink plenty of water.

To ensure optimal conditions for iron absorption, it is recommended not to take the capsule at the same time as:

  • coffee or black and green tea,
  • milk and a larger amount of dairy products,
  • high-dose calcium supplements.

A practical interval is approximately two hours. When taking medications at the same time whose absorption may be affected by iron, follow the interval recommended by your doctor or pharmacist. If you are taking levothyroxine, certain antibiotics (doxycycline, tetracycline, ciprofloxacin, penicillamine), medications for Parkinson’s disease, bisphosphonates, or other medications that are sensitive to concurrent use with minerals, consult your doctor or pharmacist about an appropriate time interval. The recommended interval generally ranges from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the specific medication.

The recommended duration of use is three months. If you need to use the product for a longer period, it is advisable to consult a doctor or pharmacist, or to have your blood count, ferritin levels, and other indicators of iron metabolism checked.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

One capsule (daily dose) contains:

  • 20 mg of elemental iron from Liposovit®-Fe—liposomal ferrous bisglycinate,
  • 60 mg of liposomal vitamin C in the form of L-ascorbic acid,
  • 1.6 mg of vitamin B6 in the form of pyridoxal-5′-phosphate,
  • 1.4 mg of vitamin B2 in the form of sodium riboflavin-5′-phosphate,
  • 1 mg of copper in the form of copper gluconate,
  • 400 µg of folate in the form of calcium L-methylfolate,
  • 4 µg of vitamin B12 in the form of methylcobalamin.

Frequently Asked Questions

In addition to laboratory results, the best basis for diagnosis is an analysis of dietary habits and the presence of symptoms that suggest iron deficiency. Typically, a complete blood count, hemoglobin, and ferritin (a storage protein containing iron found primarily in the liver, spleen, bone marrow, and intestinal mucosa) are evaluated. Its blood level reflects the body’s iron stores, but it is also one of the so-called acute-phase reactants—substances whose blood levels rise during the acute phase of inflammation—which is why it is sometimes interpreted in conjunction with CRP), transferrin (the main iron-carrying protein in plasma; after binding to the transferrin receptor, it facilitates the entry of iron into the cell), folic acid, and vitamin B12. The serum iron level alone is not sufficient to assess iron stores.

The recommended duration of use is three months. For longer-term use, it is advisable to check laboratory values after approximately 8–12 weeks and decide whether to continue based on the results. If anemia has been diagnosed, the duration of use should be determined by a doctor.

No. The product does not act as an instant stimulant. It provides nutrients involved in blood formation, hemoglobin production, and oxygen transport. It is therefore most beneficial in cases of insufficient iron intake or low iron stores.

Tolerance to iron varies from person to person. Some people may experience nausea, stomach discomfort, constipation, or a change in stool consistency. The bisglycinate and phospholipid formulation of IRON PREMIUM is specifically designed for better tolerance; however, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of digestive discomfort in sensitive individuals. If these symptoms occur, try taking the capsule with a meal.

Yes, your stools may become darker while taking iron. However, if your stools are noticeably black and tarry, or if you experience bleeding or severe pain, you should consult a doctor.

The Reference Intake represents the approximate amount of a nutrient for an average adult, not the maximum safe dose. One IRON PREMIUM capsule provides 20 mg of iron, which corresponds to 142.9% of the Reference Intake.
This dose is intended for targeted iron supplementation in cases of increased iron needs or insufficient intake. The product should not be combined with other iron-containing supplements without the recommendation of a healthcare professional.

Iron requirements change during pregnancy, and iron supplementation is warranted. However, a doctor should determine the appropriate dosage based on diet, blood tests, and iron stores. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should therefore consult their doctor before using this product.

IRON PREMIUM is not a stimulant, and its effects do not manifest as an immediate boost of energy. The effectiveness of iron supplementation depends on your baseline iron stores, the cause of the deficiency, your diet, and the regularity of use. Changes in blood count and the replenishment of iron stores occur gradually.
